Italian Abstract Circuit series 1

Original Garda F1 circuit, portrayed as an abstract maze of lines depicting the picturesque port town circuit, used for 15 Grand Prix races between 1921 and 1966, with the F1 race in 1948 on the 16km course. The maze of lines is created from all the shapes of the circuit as it rises from the seafront startline, up into the mountains and back, a total of 25.5km long. The line creates a playful visual maze to get absorbed within.
Created using acrylic paints on canvas, framed with AR70 gallery grade art glass. Ready to hang. Original artwork, 1 of 1.

About the Artist

Since 1994, artist Jonny Ambrose has been creating elegant, contemporary automobile sculptures and designing trophies awarded at The Quail Concours, USA and the Mille Miglia series of events.
